The Association of the University Libraries has for its priority the stimulating of the shared use of information resources between the university libraries in our country. Strategic purpose is the achievement of high quality of the information insurance of the educational and scientific sphere.

From its establishing till now, the Association of the University Libraries has been initiating the creating of consortiums between the libraries by High schools for subscription of databases with scientific information from leading world providers.

This year AUL negotiates with Thomson Scientific for shared use of the prestigious scientific databases ISI Web of Knowledge.
